Kapuk Muara Gets Water Supply Through Piping System

PDAM Jaya and PT. PAM Lyonnaise Jaya (Palyja), the operators, have cooperated to provide clean water for Kapuk Muara Urban Village, Penjaringan, North Jakarta through piping system.

In total, we have provided clean water for 1,700 families

PDAM Jaya Director, Erlan Hidayat said 600 families at RW 01, 04, and 05 already have an access for clean water. 1,100 families at Duta Harapan Indah Complex are also got this water service.

"In total, we have provided clean water for 1,700 families," he informed, Thursday (12/28).

Clean Water Supply Pipeline System in Pegadungan Reviewed

His side needs to put down 300 mm diameter pipeline on Jl. Teluk Gong from height of 4.5 meters into 2.5 meters, repair pipe leakage, do network optimization and pipe restoration in order to optimize clean water supply to Kapuk Muara Urban Village residents.

"This technical repair is done from August to November 2017," he conveyed.

His side has also asked PT. Palyja to replace residents' water meters to increase water debit into 20 liters per second.

"We will keep monitor to ensure water is supplied to residents," he mentioned.

Meanwhile, Kapuk Muara Urban Village's RW 04 Head, Muhammad Irsyad appreciates PDAM Jaya fast response in handle residents complaints through PT. Palyja.

"I hope this good performance could be enhanced or at least maintained. Thus residents can get the best service," he stated.
